8static is tonight! In honour of its 3rd anniversary, I will be doing an extremely limited run of the above posters. Featuring all three performers and the visualist, there will only be three of each poster available at the show.
Photos are by Marjorie Becker/Chiptography, Ben Mason, and EMiSpicer/Ugly Machine.

My photos from the January Pulsewave featuring Note!, Doomcloud, and Kris Keyser vs. Chromix have gone live on the Pulsewave facebook page. If you would like to see the complete set which includes photos of all the acts as well as several of the audience members, you can visit the album on facebook here.
This poster is fucking incredible.
OH FUCK. (save facundo!!!)
One Saturday a month at the Tank is event called Pulsewave that showcases various chiptune artists near and far. On this particular evening Pulsewave is supporting a special cause: Facundo, one of three parts of Cheese ‘N’ Beer (also on facebook) as well as being a chiptune artist himself, ran into some trouble while on tour due to his non-citizen status despite being in the process of becoming legal. Fighting to keep Facundo in this country isn’t easy nor is it inexpensive, so his friends are coming together to help. This month’s Pulsewave has been appropriately nicknamed Facundowave, and while retaining its usual atmosphere will doubly serve as a fundraiser to help him with his legal fees. Open mic will be available only to those who win the slots via auction, there were be raffles, and all the money spent will go towards helping a wonderful person stay amongst his friends and family. If you live in the New York area and have had a curiousity or interest in chip music I urge you to make this be an event you attend. Not only will the music and visuals be stunning, but you will be doing something to help someone who will truly appreciate it. SAVE FACUNDO!
